Q: Do you supply linens and towels?

A: Yes. Bed linens are supplied for all beds as well as bath towels. However, we do not supply Beach Towels, so please bring those with you.


Q: Do you allow pets?

A: For those of you who must travel with your pet(s), we can make arrangements in advance. There will however, be an additional rental fee of $200 per pet, per week. We ask that you please be considerate of future guests. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your pet and for the benefit of other guests, we expect you to clean up the yard after your pet.


Q: Is there a gas or charcoal grill?

A: We have provided a large gas grill for each of the cottages for your enjoyment.


Q: Is there a “no-wake” policy on this lake?

A: No. But we suggest that you review the hours of operation in the Michigan Laws and Regulations Handbook here.


Q: Do you have a pontoon to rent?

A: Yes. Please click here for our rates.


Q: Do you provide life vests?

A: Yes, but they are reserved for our guests that rent the pontoon. We have a variety of sizes (adult and children); however, you should bring your own if you have an infant.


Q: Is there internet access?

A: Yes. We do provide internet access which is secured. We provide you with the security passcode upon your arrival.


Q: Do we need to bring Beach Towels?

A: It is highly recommended that you bring your own beach towels. We provide bath towels for bathing and discourage these towels from being used for swimming.


Q: Are there laundry facilities available?

A: Yes. Each cottage has its own washer and dryer.


Q: What time zone is “Fisher Lake” in?

A: Eastern (daylight savings) Time

 


Q: Do we need to bring firewood for a campfire?

A: No. We provide kindling and firewood for your enjoyment.


Q: Do you rent the properties during all the seasons?

A: Yes. Fisher Lake and the surrounding area offer a variety of summer and winter activities. Please refer to our of Local Area Guide.


Q: Do I need to clean the home when leaving?

A: We have included a cleaning fee within the rate which covers a thorough cleaning of the home after checkout. However, it is the renter’s responsibility to empty the refrigerator, take trash to dumpsters, wash the dishes, cookware, utensils, etc. and put such items in proper places. Clean the grill if it’s been used. Remove all food from refrigerator. Return all furniture to original location. Strip beds that were used and put all dirty sheets and towels by the washing machine. Do not put comforters, Mattress pads or bed spreads with dirty or wet linens. Check closets, dressers, and under beds for personal belongings. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Turn off all lights. Close and lock all windows and doors. Leave all keys on dining room table and report any damages or maintenance needs.


Q: May we have guests, a party or a family reunion?

A: In general, you may have day guests during your stay. However, should you consider having a party or family reunion, we would suggest you contact us in advance to discuss the details.


Q: Is Smoking Permitted?

A: Smoking is not permitted inside either of the cottages. Outside smoking is permitted but PLEASE DO NOT LITTER. Use ash tray and do not throw on ground as fire may erupt. Failure to obey this rule will result in an additional cleaning fee charged to the tenant.
